On 3 July 2021, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Tourism and Sports, visited 4 districts in Songkhla Province to deliver survival kits and equipment to prevent against the spread of the COVID-19 virus as Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha has assigned ministers to visit areas that are facing the spread of the virus to deliver survival kits and equipment to provide assistance to locals in these communities. On this occasion, the minister of tourism and sports met locals in several areas. The first area was at Kumnan Ched Building, Na Thawi District, where 270 sets of survival kits were delivered. The second area was at Phru Wa School Quarantine Center in Prakob Subdistrict, Na Thawi District, where 100 survival kits were delivered. The third area was at Saba Yoi District Office, where 375 survival kits were delivered. The fourth area was at Thepha Cultural Center, where 375 survival kits were delivered. The fifth area was at Ban Na Subdistrict, Chana District, where 375 survival kits were delivered. Those who welcomed the minister and received the survival kits included Mr. Wongsakorn Nunchukan, Deputy Governor of Songkhla Province, Mr. Nutchanon Srikorkuea, Songkhla MP, Area 7, from Bhumjaithai Party, Mr. Abdulbasim Abu, Pattani MP, Area 2, from Bhumjaithai Party, Mr. Ratchata Samranchalaruk, Director of Tourism and Sports, Songkhla Province, and subdistrict and village headmen, as well as community representatives.
