On 12th June, 2018 at Nakhon Sawan Rajabhat University, Mr. Weerasak Kowsurat, Minister of Tourism and Sports, attended the On Site Cabinet Meeting No. 4/2016. After the meeting, Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha, stated that the tourism of Thailand played an important role in generating revenue for the country. The government has a policy to promote secondary city tourism. The Ministry of Tourism and Sports was assigned in cooperation with relevant agencies and various committees in working altogether to develop sustainable tourism and quality as well as promoting the diverse cultural tourism which was the unique and distinctive features of Thai people.
At 3.00 PM, at Ban Kaeng Sub-district, Mueang District, Nakhon Sawan Province, Minister of Tourism and Sports, accompanying the team of General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister, to visit Ban Kaeng Community Pottery Museum Center and Ban Mon Pottery Museum in Ban Kaeng Sub-district. It was the good source of quality pottery acceptable among the public both domestic and international. The products were improved to have variety of uses. The patterns were developed to be modern following the popularity of consumers. Inside the center, the pottery production was demonstrated. Pottery products in various forms represented the local wisdom of "Mon" villagers to be chosen as the Creative Industry Village (CIV) by the Ministry of Industry.
