Discussions between the Ministry of Tourism and Sports and the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute

           On 24th June, 2021 at 10.30 am in the meeting room of the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Tourism and Sports, the discussion leader for the Thai delegation, together with an advisory committee of the Minister of Tourism and Sports and Mr. Mongkon Wimonrat, Assistant Permanent Secretary to the Minister of Tourism and Sports, participated in a teleconference with the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute with Mr. Masafumi Shukuri, the Chairman of the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute, as the discussion leader for the Japanese delegation, and his team.

           The main discussion topics were tourism cooperation issues, the promotion of inter-relationship and future cooperation in tourism information with relevant agencies under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

          Mr. Masafumi Shukuri, the Chairman of the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports for supporting the establishment of the Japan Transport and Tourism Research Institute, ASEAN-India Regional Office in Bangkok, Thailand on 1st April, 2021.
